Amy Burhoe Designs:

Amy Burhoe Designs is the husband and wife team of Wesley and Amy Burhoe. Together they share a passion for color, art, and design. In 2006 they started the business from their home studio in Providence, Rhode Island. Today, Amy Burhoe Designs operates out of the Border City Mills in Fall River, Massachusetts.

Border City Mills:

Border City Mills is a historic textile mill located at the corners of West Street and Weaver Street in Fall River, Massachusetts. Fused Glass:

Layers of glass are melted together using a kiln which is a specialized type of oven. Many techniques can be used to alter the glass and the process can last anywhere from 6 to 24 hours! At the peak temperature (usually around 1475 degrees!) the glass is molten red. More info can be found by visiting Wikipedia.
